Kicking off the festivities is the pre-rodeo Street Party on Friday night - a chance for locals and visitors alike to come together, soak up the atmosphere, listen to some great entertainment and get into the rodeo spirit. With live music, delicious food, kids rides and plenty of fun activities, it's the perfect way to start the weekend!
Then, on Saturday, all eyes turn to the main event - the Nebo Rodeo. Renowned for its thrilling displays of horsemanship, daring bull riding, and heart-stopping rodeo action, our rodeo promises an unforgettable experience for spectators of all ages. And as the sun sets, the excitement continues with the main event in the arena followed by live music by the talented Luke Geiger, ensuring the party atmosphere lasts late into the night.

The Nebo Hotel Street Party is the perfect way to kick off the weekend! Live music, family-friendly activities and plenty of tasty treats make for the ultimate street party event that everyone can enjoy.
With free camping at available at Nebo Showgrounds and accommodation available at The Nebo Hotel, you’re more than welcome to enjoy a few beers and show us your best dance moves. Featuring musical guests from around Australia, kids rides, market stalls and so much more. Watch this space! |

Join us for the #1 rodeo in Australia, kicking off on Saturday May 18th. Get ready for heart-stopping rodeo action, mouth-watering food from local vendors and a bar serving up your favourite beverages. Plus enjoy live music from the talented Luke Geiger, playing late into the night!
Adults $45 | Pensioner $20 High School $20 | Primary $10 | Kids Under 5 FREE Family Package $100* *Includes 2 adult tickets and 2 primary tickets History of the Rodeo Nebo Rodeo has a rich and successful history and we're looking forward to becoming even bigger and attracting even more visitors to the region. Nebo Rodeo hosted its first event in 1955 and was run by the RSL. The event was too big, so the Nebo Bushman's Carnival Inc. took over in 1956. All funds raised at the original event were donated to the Returned Soldiers through organisations like the RSL. The event has grown significantly since 1956 and is now the largest one-day rodeo in Australia. This event is run by volunteer committee, Nebo Bushman’s Carnival Inc., and raises valuable funds for the greater community including RSL, CQ Rescue, ICPA (Isolated Children’s Parents Association), local schools, sporting groups and P&C’s. The money raised and donated to the community is significant and is a great way for many small groups to raise some much-needed funds. As our event reaches closer to its 70th anniversary we look forward to ongoing success as we work towards becoming the best rodeo in the country. |

Camping Information
CAMPING IS FREE, but there is some essential information you must respect to avoid being removed from the area.
You CANNOT move a vehicle from sunset to dawn. This is very important for insurance purposes. Police and security will be monitoring and fines will be issued.
You CANNOT have a FIRE at the campgrounds. Again, this is for insurance purposes. Police and security will be monitoring and fines will be issued.
Please be aware and share this information around. We want to continue running this event and need your co-operation.
The Nebo Hotel Rodeo Weekend is a family event so keep this in mind. Not everyone is here to party until 2am. Please think about your neighbours, we want everyone to have fun but keep in mind you may be camping next to or close to a family with small kids.

Camping Information

- The camping area is a GLASS FREE zone! Please bring cans only.
- NO ALCOHOL to be brought into the Rodeo Arena or Street Party.
- ID will be checked. No ID - No Entry!
- Bags, cups, bottles will be checked on entry and exit of both events.
- Drinking at your camp is generally permitted but you cannot walk around with your drinks in the camp area.
- There are no PASSOUTS after 10pm. If you leave the Rodeo after 10pm you will not be allowed entry back in.
The Nebo Hotel Rodeo Weekend is a family event so keep this in mind. Not everyone is here to party until 2am. Please think about your neighbours, we want everyone to have fun but keep in mind you may be camping next to or close to a family with small kids.
